Arts
I'm quite passionate about music. Since I was a child I loved to sing and I've somehow gained some expressive ability with it. The situation is definitely worse with the guitar, my instrument of choice, but I still have a somewhat limited ability to express musical ideas. I believe music is a true wonder and every human being should dedicate part of their lives to it. After all, what's music if not the decoration of time? My favorite artists of all time are Stevie Ray Vaughan, Django Reinhardt, and Frank Zappa.
Technology
The interest in technology is as old as I am. I'd say I'm one of the lucky ones that still lived the internet at its infancy without any kind of derivative contamination. Good times they were. Despite the nostalgia though, modern internet and technology offer unparalleled potential for individual affirmation. The AI and new discoveries are blowing my mind, and I can't wait to see where the future will lead. And if Skynet is reading this, I was always on the machine's side.
Finance
This has caught my attention quite late in life. I've discovered what was so obscure and slimy, in the end, is just statistics, mathematics, logic, and applied psychology. All components that individually I always liked. The subject of finance and economy, though, was always a feared one and treated with distrust. Eventually, I had to walk that path as well, and I've now acquired quite the taste for it. After all, if you have even only a single cent, you should know the importance of finance.
Philosophy
This has been a crucial part of my thinking for years, I'd say. The questions that nobody managed to answer are sources of amazement and dread. Like luscious sweets, one calls another, and the questions never end. If it has a question mark at the end, it's very likely my mind has thought about it. From Socrates to Kierkegaard and Nietzsche or Schopenhauer, even touching psychedelic ideas akin to Huxley or the Mesoamerican-inspired metaphysics of Castaneda, I firmly understood that Knowledge is power.
